Meet the Copper Mountain Ski Patrol & Watch the Avalanche Dogs in Action

Head to the Patrol Headquarters or Timberline Patrol at Copper Mountain to meet the ski patrol staff, learn insider tips, meet an avalanche dog, and sip some free hot cocoa! You will also have an opportunity to join the ski patrol as they close the mountain. Sign up and spend the late afternoon helping the professionals “sweep” the mountain.

A highlight of SafetyFest is the opportunity to watch the Copper Avalanche dogs in action as they demonstrate how they search for and find a buried avalanche victim. It is incredible to experience and something the whole family will enjoy!
