Administrator Overview (Internal / Informational)

Galena House Academy is the professional training and credentialing arm of Galena House, developed to support the education, onboarding, and long-term growth of boutique hospitality professionals.

The Academy houses The Innkeeper’s Journey™, a structured, practice-based training program grounded in real-world innkeeping operations at the Frisco Inn on Galena. The program is designed to preserve institutional knowledge, promote consistency in guest experience, and support stewardship-driven leadership across departments.

Program Administration & Oversight

Galena House Academy is:

• Grounded in live operational environments
• Continuously updated

All curriculum content, credentials, and certificates are issued directly by Galena House and reflect demonstrated engagement with applied hospitality work.

Credential Structure

Participants who successfully complete required coursework and applied practice may be awarded a:

Certificate in Boutique Innkeeping & Hospitality Operations

This certificate recognizes:

• Guest-centered service proficiency
• Understanding of daily operational workflows
• Decision-making rooted in care, clarity, and accountability
• Practical application within a live hospitality environment

This is a professional applied credential, not an academic degree or license.

Relationship to Employment

Participation in Galena House Academy:

• May be offered as part of onboarding, professional development, or advancement pathways
• Does

Employment opportunities at the Frisco Inn on Galena remain separate and role-specific, and are governed by individual hiring agreements.
