Frisco in December: Wassail Days & Holiday Events
December is officially here and if you haven’t made plans to visit Frisco in this lovely holiday season, it’s not too late. One of our favorite ways to celebrate this time of year is Frisco Wassail Days. If you’re not familiar with wassail, it is a hot mulled cider traditionally drunk by the English to ensure a good apple harvest the following year. Here in Frisco, we enjoy drinking wassail so much we’ve made it into a fun and fabulous nine-day event. Starting in December, local businesses serve up their own secret version of this delicious hot cider. And, if you make it around to all of the hosting locations and try every version, you’ll receive a commemorative mug.
Stay in Frisco and enjoy holiday events, walkable festivities, and a more relaxed mountain experience—without the crowds.
And don’t forget to unwind with a relaxing massage at Mt. Royal Spa—the perfect way to complete your holiday experience.
During this nine-day event there are also several other holiday-related events that will put you in the spirit of the season. Check out the list below to make sure you don’t miss some of these exciting events this season.
Free Day at Frisco Adventure Park

On Saturday, the Inaugural Ugly Sweater Challenge will take place in Frisco with participates taking on 5 “holiday challenges” from 7th Avenue to the finish at Frisco Historic Park.
