A-Basin continues their Rando series for a 5th season of uphill challenges. This is a great way to get outdoors early and test yourself through twists and turns as you ascend from the Base area at 10,780’, climbing to near the summit at 12,474’.

Copper Mountain US Grand Prix – December 11-17

Vail Women’s Skadi Ski Fest – December 14-16

Skadi – the Norse goddess of winter – is the inspiration behind this event. Female skiers take to the slopes guided by female instructors for an on-mountain experience custom-designed for them. Evening VIP events include female-focused ski equipment demos, wine and cheese pairings, and yoga. Skadi Fest provides a full 2-day experience whether on or off the mountain.

Keystone Kidtopia – Beginning in November with daily activities through the season

Kidtopia provides fun for the kids, and entertainment activities for the whole family. Attractions include the world’s largest snow fort, arts and crafts, and live music for listening and dancing. Winter movie matinees are available, and kids and parents can also enjoy activities on the slopes, not to mention cookie time at the ice rink.

Vail Holidaze – December 16-31

The holiday season brings a feeling of magic to Vail, and Holidaze brings it to life with its tree-lighting ceremony, lantern walk, and daily activities for the family including skating and other outdoor activities. Festive decorations of garlands and holiday lighting enhance the ambiance of snow drifts and fantastic mountain scenery.
