Frisco is hosting Fall Fest on its pleasant and peaceful Maine Street this weekend, September 10th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This year’s event is set to kick off with the ‘Meet the Artist’ art show and sale, and cap off with a FREE Page 6ix concert. Fall Fest 2016 will host many activities for the entire family to enjoy. 1. Access to the Beautiful Colorado High Country
Frisco is hosting Fall Fest on Main Street, centrally located to all of the great outdoor activities Frisco has to offer. Before or after Fall Fest you can visit the Frisco Bay Marina and paddleboard on Dillon Reservoir or enjoy miles of mountain biking and hiking in Frisco’s backyard.
2. Flavors of Frisco
Flavors of Frisco highlights the town’s vibrant restaurant scene with small plate samples of signature dishes from Frisco restaurants. This provides the opportunity for festival attendees to discover some new favorite restaurants during the Flavors of Frisco event and then visit them again later at their location in Frisco.
3. Meet the Artist
The Summit County Arts Council will present a local and regional Meet the Artists show and sale at the Frisco Historic Park. The show will feature jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography and other fine arts. There will also be furniture makers displaying and selling furniture made from signature blue-hewed beetle kill wood.
4. The Beer Garden
There will be a beer garden featuring the classic German beer, Hofbräu, and local beer from Backcountry Brewery with sales benefiting the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District. Coyote Gold will also be on hand serving up Colorado’s own “Microbrew of Margaritas.”
5. FREE Live Music
On Saturday Caribou Mountain Collective will take the stage from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with their unique sound in Appalachia and Colorado bluegrass. To close out Saturday’s Fall Fest Page 6ix will bless Historic Park with their premier blend of funk, soul and R&B.
